Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is the Clinician Insured?
All assessments are done by qualified and experienced clinicians and all have a minimum of a masters degree (MSc). All clinicians are registered with Health Professions Council (HPC) and are also members the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Our particular area of interest is Biomechanics.
How do I pay for services?
If you are a patient registered with an NHS surgery with whom we have a contract access is free as long as you are referred by a GP at the practice. This does not include biomechanical assessments. Private access can either be membership of a health insurance company or if you wish, through a personalised payment plan directly with us. This payment plan will allow you to receive treatment and spread the cost over an agreed period.
What are the costs for treatment?
Costs vary according to the service requested. As a general rule, the first consultation is a maximum of £50 with £40 for each subsequent treatment session. The fee for Online Consultation is £20.
What is a Biomechanical Assessment?
An evaluation of the movement of your back can be obtained using a biomechanical assessment tool called the Lumbar Motion Monitor (LMM). The price for a biomechanical assessment is provided upon request but varies from the prices for treatment
